According to , Nicole Kidman, Bette Midler, Matthew Broderick, Faith Hill, Glenn Close, Christopher Walken and Roger Bart are slated to appear in director Frank Oz's upcoming remake of THE STEPFORD WIVES, with Tippett Studio (JURASSIC PARK, DRAGONHEART) set to provide visual effects and Paul Rudnick (ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES) scripting.

Described as a "satirical" remake, the projected release date is May 2004.

Sweet mercilful Jesus, why?!? :shock: Bette Midler, Matthew Broderick, Faith Hill and Glen Close. All in a "satirical" remake? By Frank Oz? Why don't they just rate it "S" for "suck" and get it over with? :rant:

i honestly see this being as good as the "Psycho" remake-hopefully no needless j3rk off scenes. :censored:
