[I 160w br_post I]Ahhh, BATTLE ROYALE. When the film came out in Japan a few years ago, it became an instant sensation. Everywhere it opened in Europe and Asia, it was a film of constant conversation, both timely and shocking. So timely and shocking that years later, the film still has not gotten a U.S. release. Amazingly enough, BATTLE ROYALE also happened to be an excellent film.

Oh, almost forgot, according to MIKE's uber-excellent BATTLE ROYALE 2 website, there's now a Hong Kong "Theatre Cam" BR2 DVD floating around so beware if you see it on EBAY. The image quality is said to be supra-shitty but it's reported to have ENGLISH SUBTITLES so ONLY the diehardest of the BATTLE ROYALE diehards need only apply!

I just bought the Special Edition to both BR's. I've seen the trailer to the first one, really love to see the trailer to the 2nd one but can't find it anywhere. Seems all links are broken.
