FREDDY VS. JASON held it's first official test screening the other night. New Line made the wise decision of recruiting the die-hard Jason and Freddy fans for the screening, rather than pick people at random off the street. The result, as can be expected, was quite good. This sounds like a film made for the fans. So if the thought of two slasher icons in a superhero-like match-up doesn't make you salivate, then the film probably isn't made for you to begin with.
As usual, has the first reports from the test screenings, as well as the typical whining from Talk Backers. So, if you're dying to find out how the FREDDY VS. JASON screening went, just click on the link and enjoy. Keep in mind this is only the first two reports that have come in. There will most likely be more reports from test screenings, some more complimentary than others. It's just the way it's played
In other FREDDY VS. JASON news, Horror Express did not post a link to the teaser earlier this week, because it was believed to be bogus. Sure enough, New Line has said, "It is absolutely not our trailer." So, now that the air is cleared, we'll post the link. HA! Gotcha! Expect a fan trailer, much like the ones made up for the STAR WARS prequels. What's surprising is that it made it's way onto the of all things. Well, enjoy.
Oh, and to avoid further confusion, no that isn't an official poster to your left. Rather, it's a concept poster made by . I like to give credit where credit is due and he seems to have made some impressive stuff over there.
