DAY OF THE AX

DAY OF THE AX will be released in April 2006 through Brain Damage Films. Its a slasher flick done in the style of the Texas Chainsaw movies. IF you like slasher flicks, you'll dig this movie. Right now we are in production on the sequel to Day of the Ax called HOUSE OF CARNAGE. There is a link up for that movie in the horror movie section. Day of the Ax features scream queens SUZI L and TINA KRAUSE. Also, features b-movie actores JOEL WYKNOOP and TIM RITTER.

Wow, actress TINA KRAUSE (alias Mia Copia) has surprisingly done alot of stuff including working with other well known scream queens like DEBBIE ROCHON, BRINKE STEVENS, and MISTY MUNDAE.

I may have missed it but I didn't see a trailer over at the Brain Damage Films website. Is there one? From what I can tell, DAY OF THE AX looks like a TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE homage and if that's true, it'll certainly be worth checking out. I mean, for some unexplainable reason, I just enjoy seeing those crazy backwoods families and their murderous hijinks.

Brain Damage doesn't have anything up yet, but it should be soon. Ya, Tina was great to work with. A true pro... Whenever she wasn't acting she was helping out with other things. Thats what makes her so great.

Day of the Ax, is a throw back to the 80's slasher movies. Done in the style of the Texas Chainsaw movies and Halloween movies. Its my way of saying thank you to those films that I loved growing up. My movie does have its own type of storyline so, at least that will be something new. Yes, lots of backwoods meat eaters in this one.

Day of the Ax won 1st place at the Indie Gathering Film Festival in Cleveland this year. Right now Brain Damage has a release date of April 2006. Its a ways off but, it'll be here before you know it.

Also, in production is HOUSE OF CARNAGE. This is a sequel to the Day of the Ax movie. There is a link to the HOUSE OF CARNAGE info in the HORROR MOVIES area here. There are some hot pictures up as well. Check it out...

Apologies for bumping a dead thread, but I was wondering if anyone had or could point me to any more info on this film. ( pics, trailer, etc.) I am really looking forward to seeing but I can't seem to find much iinfo out there.
