Has anyone seen this movie yet? I have seen the original Amityville Horror from back in the days, and that was a pretty good movie. With all these crap horror movies coming out these days, I don't even know if this one is going to be good too. If anyone has already seen this movie, tell me if its worth watching or not. Thanks!

I've not seen it myself it ison my list. This film had one huge thing against it IMO. Its a remake. Decent remakes are a rare thing but Amityville Horror has been getting alot of good come back from the guys over at fangoria. It seems Ryan Renolds (sp?) finally gives a good performance.

hard to believe guys but i actually liked this one better than the original...the original was just too boring, probably because most of the stuff really happened. on the remake they throw alot of stuff in there that probably didnt really happen...but made the movie more interesting.

actually the whole haunting of amityville was completely dreamt up buy the film makers, the only thing in The Amityville Horror that was real were the murders of the family.

It's a renter. That's what my friends and I call it when you should rent it. To me it sucked! They added all these cheesy effects and the magnets of the fridge were giving death signs. Rent it. It may be your cup of tea. To me I blew my money!

I'm a big fan! This is a great classic horror movie. I'm 17 years old right now, but I'm pretty sure many teens out there will think this movie is boring. The score is one of the scariest ones out there. I think it's still a bit scary. Now, don't tell me watching a red-eyed "flying" pig looking at you through your window isn't scary! :lmao:
