this is not a review, but a recommendation. Dario Argento's BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMMAGE is his first film in the Giallo genre, and it is a great Giallo to boot. It is really essential viewing for anyone who is an Argento fan or a fan of the Giallo. I also suggest watching his follow ups like, CAT O'NINE TAILS and FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET, which completes his ANIMAL TRILOGY. FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET is pretty hard to find though, so if you are lucky enough to find a copy, I say grab it.
