I was wondering if anyone has scene the film MALEVOLENCE, and whether or not theres a review of it out there? I know the dvd comes out next week, courtesy of Anchor Bay Ent. Is it worth buying on dvd?

I decided to pick up the dvd anyways after hearing that it reminds viewers of horror films from the 70's, and I'm glad I did. It was nostalgic in its sound and look, and I'm glad I picked up the dvd. I wonder if Carpenter has seen this film, and what his opinion is on the soundtrack.

ARRRGGHhhh no I am sorry i couldnt save you from that waste of....well everything. It was awful...you know I would have loved it, maybe at least liked it, but unfortunatly the crew, and production company, hyped it as the must see movie of the year....so gruesome, so horrific nothign like it...ho hum...
I mean even the movie points out..what people are going missing and you didnt check out the giant abandoned mill...argghhh...and worshipping at the altar of a cow arghhh...and argghhh...IT was awful...it was slow, it was predictable, you wanted everyone to die...there were loop holes, and plot holes and oh the ending...there is only 50 MILLION things wrong with it.....and why IT WOULDNT HAPPEN WITH ANY SANE POLICE OFFICER...and a tribute to what? kiss my hairy ARse...everytime some drops us a steaming load of crapthey call it a tribute film...juisat admit it was crap, just admit it was a steaming load...hell maybe I will film my dog for an hour and call it a tribute film to cujo.
seriously folks just cause someone calls something a tribute film dosnt make it good, or artsy it makes it...yes a steaming load.
the killings were dark and so pedestrian, and the gore...yawn...and the predictable ending...and the attempt to make it not predictable arghhh.
well whatever.
but some tasty fried chicken would be much better then watching this..this movie really :censored: sucked
