I came into work on saturday, and usually it gets pretty boring, but that saturday was different. Instead of being bored off my ass, I ended up being scared shitless with goosebumbs that trickled up and down my whole body. It all started with my cousin coming into work. See, me and my cousin work together, and most of the time, if it ain't busy, we would talk about movies. This time the topic of discussion was different. He started asking me how deep my beliefs were when it comes to the supernatural, whether I believed it, have I ever seen an apparition before, you know, stuff like that. I told him that my faith in all things supernatural was pretty high, and that I remember seeing a little girl run through my wall when I was young. He then proceeded to tell me a story that seemed to literally make my flesh crawl. Here is the story, he started by telling me about this creek, over in Tracy, that connects to a delta. The creek resides on a farm that is on private property. Well, it turns out that my cousin and some of his friends had sneaked into that farm before to go fishing. He said you could catch fishes there, and it was never packed, because hardly anybody knows about the creek. You could only enter the creek at night because during the day, there were workers working on the farm. My cousin then began telling me that a few weeks ago, him and his friend went fishing there. they've been fishing for about an hour when all of a sudden, they heard a great "thump", like a big rock falling into the water. He didn't think much of it, and thought that it was probably a fish jumping in and out of the water. They fished for about another hour, and every once in awhile, they would hear the "thump". after awhile they grew tired, packed their things, and went home. He came back the following week with another friend and his wife, who just arrive here in the states from Vietnam. They were there for about two hours when his friend's wife said that she was getting cold, and that she was going to go lie down in the bed of his truck. After twenty minutes had passed, my cousin and his friend started to also feel cold, so they decided to go sit in the truck and warm up for a bit, leaving their fishing rods by the creek. After being in the truck for about 5 minutes, they started to feel the truck shaking, like someone is bouncing up and down on the bumper. They noticed a noise that sounded like moaning coming from the bed of the truck. My cousin's friend became worried that something could have happened to his wife, so they decided to go check. They arrived to the back of the truck, lifted the door, and what they saw was, his friend's wife foaming at the mouth. They rushed in to help her, and noticed that she started talking in spanish. Both of them were dumb founded, they didn't know what to do, so my cousin suggested that they bring her to a hospital. When they arrived to the hospital, the doctors didn't know what was wrong with her. They inquired about her medical history, and her husband told them that she was pretty healthy, with no record of her being an epileptic, or having any seizures what so ever. They commited her to a room, and kept watch over her. About 4 hours had passed when my cousin's friend came out to tell him that his wife is fine. My cousin then ask his friend what had happen. He told him that while his wife was in the bed of the truck, she could hear noises surrounding the truck. Then when she opened her eyes, she saw three mexican kids inside the truck with her. Two of the kids ran over to her and pinned down her arms while the third kid ran to her and started jumping on her stomach, she then blacked out and woke up in the hospital bedroom. After my cousin finished the story, I asked him if she really was possessed, and he asked me how many people I know, who just came over here from Vietnam, that could speak spanish. I told him that I didn't know any. Then he said that that was the only language she was speaking throughout those 4 hours, and that he came to the conclusion that those "thumps" he had heard weren't fishes jumping in and out of the water after all, but instead, it was those ghost kids throwing rocks into the water.
