[I 160w ricci_02 I]Wes Craven got a much needed career boost when SCREAM came out. Screenwriter Kevin Williamson got more press in a year than most writers get in their lifetimes. The two went out on their own. Craven followed up the SCREAM films with MUSIC FROM THE HEART. Williamson meanwhile cranked out WASTELAND and TEACHING MRS. TINGLE.

Clearly, they had to get back together.

So is the new film, CURSED, which we hope is not a prophetic title. It's a werewolf film, written by Williamson and directed by Craven. It's been in the working stages for months now, but the cast is finally shaping up.

SCREAM vets, Neve Campell ( who is an underused talent ) and Skeet Ulrich ( who isn't ) have recently joined the cast. On the talented side of the cast, we have Illeana Douglas, Omar Epps, Scott Foley and Robert Forster. On the "Dear God in Heaven - why?!?" side, we have Scott Baio and Corey Feldman.

The latest addition is someone we all love. We watched her grow up in THE ADDAMS FAMILY. We watched her become a strong actress in BUFFALO 66, THE OPPOSITE OF SEX and SLEEPY HOLLOW. We very anxiously await her nude scenes in PROZAC NATION. Christina Ricci will join the hunt for the lycanthropes.

CURSED is due in theatres in 2004, presumably on a full moon.

Await Ricci's nude scenes in our !!!
