Just more stuff to talk about.
1. What does everyone do for a living?
2. Other hobbies besides watching horror movies?
3. Ages?
4. Favorite food?

Oh, I guess I'll start.

1. Electronics Technician

2. Snowboarding, Mountainboarding, BMX, Frisbee Golf, Darts, Billiards, Comics, Swords and knife collecting, collecting figurines(mostly Spawn), cooking, and last but not least, running www.crashcorps.com.
It's an action sports team consisting of myself and a few other kids whom I sponsor for different action sports. In the future there'll be all sorts of gear to sell from the site. I currently own another one called Hellski (www.hellski.com) but I've tried to sell my clothing numerous times in stores but they're not having it because it sounds "seasonal" because of the word "ski" in it. So Hellski will slowly be replaced by Crash Corps. I've competed a few times in Mountainboarding, it's always a blast. Except when I break something, then it kind of sucks.

3. Soon to be 34 years young.

4. Sushi, I could live off of raw Samon and Wasabi.

Hey, question for ya there. On that SOUNDCLICK site, can anyone sign up and make their own music there to have it available for listening? I'd love to make some syntho-John Carpenter type stuff.

I was a shipper/receiver at a dvd/music ditributing plant for 4 years got layed off a week ago and just slacking off now at ripe young age of 19(hehe)MY HOBBY IS SLEEP.

Ummm, like billy sleep I guess. I do everything horror related. I love art. Poetry.

Sleep (such a great answer) kicks arse. I like it WAAAAAAAY too much, always have. Since a nipper you couldn't get me to sleep, but when I did you couldn't get me to get up. I mean over the years I've overslept a lot. And I don't mean getting up half an hour after the alarm. I mean sleeping until I'm slept out.

Just recently I've also heard that studies say people who get "<=7 hours" live longer than people who get "8 hours plus". That really sucks for me if true.

Hobbies for me.
NFL (stupid-big lifelong fan of the Chicago Bears)
Music (I probably have listened to music for half of my waking life for the last 20 years, literally)
oodles of great TV (All American, HBO stuff mainly, no reality garbage)
Poker (Though the game pisses off more than anything most of the time. Just a way to make money, supposedly, these days)
Gaming (though I seem to have lost my passion for it now I'm older)

Other stuff I can't think of probably. I'm very hobby-heavy work-lite. If I wasn't I probably wouldn't have such a sad life. Hahah. :/

1. I was deemed disabled several years ago. All of my illnesses finally waylaid me. So, I guess I'm a lady of leisure.

2. Other hobbies besides watching horror movies?
Let's see...
* watching all kinds of movies and lots of TV (documentaries especially)
* reading (not as much as I'd like, not until I get contact lenses)
* writing fiction, nonfiction and occasionally poetry
* trading/selling comic books (It seems I earned a very cool nickname from past victims~um~dealers/traders: The Infamous Dr. Cyn! I like it! It has a ring to it!)(The truth: I always dealt fairly and honestly, but they thought it was funny that a middleaged woman could walk in and actually get what her comics were worth.)
* sketching, with my drawings appearing in many fanzines
* RPing on several forums and AEing with snail mail friends (AEing is much more complex than RPing.)
* creating graphics with my $19.97 Wal-Mart PrintShop and sometimes on PhotoBucket
* attending reenactment events in garb though I haven't gotten to do that as often as I'd like in the past few years *sigh*
* costuming, jewelrymaking and other crafts that go along with being a reenactor
* playing my bowed psaltery and songcatching (collecting folk/traditional/ethnic music)
* researching several filmbooks I dream of having published someday
* solving movie mysteries at Yahoo!Answers, The Internet Movie Critic and other sites

3. It's not nice to ask reeeeeeally ancient cat ladies how old they are! *giggle* I think you can figure that out from many of my answers. I'm likely older than a bunch of you added together.

4. roast beef, oven-roasted turkey, cheesecake, chocolate, coffee-flavored stuff ~ Not that I get any of that much during the year... I can dream, can't I, as I dine on tuna and crackers, black olives and FiberPlus bars?

MMA - Boxing
Hey Rob, welcome to Horror Express.

Getting into MMA quite a lot myself, since last year. Can't wait for UFC 111 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_111), and seeing my fellow countryman Dan Hardy's shot a a title belt. Last couple of bills have been pretty bare, what with all the withdrawals, but this one looks great.

I used to be a big boxing fan too, up to the early 90's, but they killed it off in this country when it all went PPV.

trading/selling comic books
You read 100 BULLETS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/100_bullets) Cyn? Just had one of 'em delivered to me today (I'm still at the early part of it).

The more realistic, gritty stuff is my thing. Capes not so much.

RPing on several forums and AEing with snail mail friends (AEing is much more complex than RPing.)I've been a Roleplayer since I was a kid (in an inactive phase the last couple of years). Oh, and, to clarify I'm talking real Pen-and-Paper roleplaying. Not this modern computer game stuff (which ain't at all RP'ing in my book).

roast beefYou ever had Yorkshire puddings (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yorkshire_puddings) your side of the pond?

John: I've never gotten to try Yorkshire puddings, but if I ever encounter the opportunity, I would go for it! I've had old-style bread pudding, which I was told was from a recipe from England, but they didn't have plum or Yorkshire.

I haven't gotten to buy/swap comics for a while, so I'm not up on some titles. 100 Bullets is one I'd have to check out. Most of my dealings are with the Eighties back to the Fifties though I've done some reading/collecting into the Nineties but not much past the 21st century mark. I'll check it out!

I have a pet project in comics: collecting all of Rick Jones and maybe writing a book about his development someday. He's so pivotal in the tale of the Hulk, yet he was left out of both movies. I find him a fascinating character, starting merely as a teen whose reckless intrusion on a military site just for a dare sparks the transition of the usual mild-mannered scientist into a monstrous being. My first pre-teen crushes were on Johnny Storm (who is HORRIDLY represented in the movies!) then Rick Jones. It broke my heart to part with many of my early issues of Fantastic 4, but medical bills were demanding a lot from me. So, I sold Amazing Fantasy with Spider-Man's debut, No. 1 of The X-Men and Daredevil, and many others I would like to have kept. But, I've retained all of Rick's appearances throughout the years. I guess the crush is still going. *giggle*

Let's just say I was a DC fan throughout the Fifties, then came Marvel in the Sixties, and my heart was won away except with few exceptions, such as DC's Metal Men and Doom Patrol, of which I have a number of issues left. I think Metal Men would make a great CGI-based film, one time when computer animation could be put to very good use. Now, who should play Magnus? How about James (Jim) Caviezel?

Oh! I used to knit~not crochet! I learned to do it so that I could have a Tom Bakerish scarf, as in Doctor Who! I'd attended my first Who con and was soooo envious of scarves but couldn't afford one. I think mine is still stashed in the top of a closet, and I haven't knitted since.

Same thing with chess: I taught myself during the Bobby Fischer/Boris Spassky match in Reykjavik, Iceland. Each day, my dad and I would study the progression published in the paper, and I decided I wanted to learn. I bought Fischer's book and learned enough to beat all challengers. I tried to join the college chess club, but, after a few meetings in which the guys wanted me to take back my moves so they could show me what I should have done, I sort of gave up. Isn't it about winning? Yes, they said, but insisted I played too unpredictably and wasn't approaching the game the way I should~their way. Again: I thought the idea was to WIN! Oh well... I haven't played for so long that I'd have to unearth my book and mini-chess set and start from scratch. I do have to add that this was in the early Seventies, so the whole male/female dynamic was drastically different: men & chess = brilliant; women & chess = ... Does not compute!

Mine isn't the traditional colors though I bought other yarn to make a second one; I never got around to that unfortunately. The one I made is shades of burgundy through pale pink to go with a costume I was putting together. I did manage a loooooooong scarf, just not in Tom Baker's colors. By the way, I've been fortunate to have met him at several conventions, including an elevator ride. He seems to always have time to talk to people. What a sweet, funny, intelligent man he is, exactly as he appears in the series! I was not in the least disappointed, so he can remain on the pedestal I have for him. *giggle*

Now, Peter Davison... He bugged me by having his Doctor unravel the other one's scarf, and that is how mean-natured he is in life~at least the way he acted at one convention. Somehow, he lived down to my expectations of him. But, I could never say much to my friend, who is a Davison fan.

How wonderful to find another Whovian! Hooray! I still have all of the buttons I purchased at conventions, as it was typical to wear favorite Doctors and Companions on scarves, costumes or whatever one chooses to wear. I'm an Adric supporter, by the way, and even wrote a story about him! Yes, I am a fan writer and artist, and I've been published~mostly art. I've not been in the sketching habit as much, but for a while, I was very in demand to illustrate fanzines. Maybe I'll get back into doing that, as I have two penfriends who produce small zines.
