Thinking of buying this one with some other stuff as I've seen a decent deal (£9 delivered) for the 2 disc version.

But I haven't seen it, so could any of you kind chaps who have let me know what you think of it?
I'm particularly interested in how it compares with the original Blade. B)

The original BLADE should not have been anywhere near as good as it was. I saw the film with low expectations for some reason. It was by far the most entertaining film I saw that summer. I absolutely love it.

If BLADE II is not as good as the original, the difference is minimal. The film is complex, action-packed, serious but insane at the same time. And if anything like the Region 1 2-Disc Set, the DVD is great, featuring an hour and a half documentry! I highly recommend this one, buddy! B)

Thanks for that Scott!

Excellent recommendation, now I think this is definitely for me.

I too liked Blade. Quite a lot.
I didn't exactly go into it expecting it to be sub-standard. But I didn't expect it to deliver as well as it did.
Snipes did a great job of fleshing Blade out. It looked superb. Del Toro definitely delivered.

Nice to know it has some really worthwhile additions on the bonus CD.
My only fear is that it features Luke Goss as a vampire.
(Those aware of late 80's English pop group 'Bros' will know exactly what I'm talking about).

Oh and Kristopherson (who died in the first?) is in the second. And *not* one of the undead?!

Yeah, that raised my eyebrows when I saw it in the trailer. But they start out explaining that right away, and it's handled quite well actually. Remember the bit in the original that took place in Moscow? That was a hint. B)

And thankfully, I have no idea who 'Bros' were. I was more concerned with Norman Reedus after having to sit through GOSSIP on a sleepless impulse  but he wasn't too bad.

I expected it to be less entertaining than the first one, so I wasn't let down when it was exactly that. I liked part 2 tho. I know this thread is old as hell, but it ain't worth buyin. In fact, nothin is in the torrent age. :teeth:
