Mortal Kombat. NOT TRUE, JUST A DISCUSSION

Does anyone think they should remake the Mortal Kombat movies? They had a lot of potentional, but failed it in the CGI apparentment, imagine what they could now a days, does anyone else share me opinion?

Yes i agree with you. I would like to MORTAL KOMBAT re-done. I quite enjoyed the first one as it provided a fairly decent story but the fight scenes were too tacky and too short. MORTAL KOMBAT 2 on the other hand had a shit story but pretty decent fight scenes.

With the advancements in SFX today i think MK could deffinately benefit with a make over. If they ever did remake it I think it would be better if Paul Anderson had nothing to do with it although I think MK was one of his better films and he did do a fairly good job with it. But it could do with a writer/director who has more sucess with these types of films.

I hated the fact that Christopher Lambert wasnt playing raiden in MK 2, that other guy just wasnt good enough to play the role in my opinion, plus the guy who plays the emperor was just embarrasing as the main bad guy lol

mk3 yeah that would cool i liked the first one and the second one was ok but not as good as the first to many chars were put in and if lambet returns as rayden :D

No according to IMDB MORTAL KOMBAT 3 is still in discussion i think you are referring to the made for video version i think that is kind of a MK 2.5 or sumthing like that. You know like Xmen 1.5 lol
